The Greenwood Hotel is bound by the Privacy Principles as outlined in the National Privacy Act 2000. We thank you for the trust that you place in us and will not disclose to a third party any personal contact details or other information you provide to us. Information collected on reservation forms, signup forms events and gift cards will be used for purposes of creating and maintaining reservation records, keeping you informed of upcoming events and specials, processing your gift card order and assisting us in improving our service to you. Please contact us with any enquiries you may have in relation to this matter.
The Greenwood Hotel is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your table reservation and provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable); that’s all.
The unique network address of your computer is called its “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
For security purposes, we keep a record of your IP addresses when you log on to our website and as part of the checkout process. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.
Stripe processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the Stripe gateway are secured payments. Payments are fully automated with an immediate response. Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by any outside party.
All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plain text card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services including our API and website.
In addition, this site also uses a SSL Certificate not only to encrypt transactions but to protect the back-end of the website from potential intruders. Malware scans are automatically performed on a daily basis.
